Now about the flowers. My daughter gave me the tulip's and the Easter bunny mum for Easter. I want to plant the tulips in my yard but not sure what to do. Can i plant them now or do i wait and save the bulbs and plant them this fall. Not to good with flowers. LOL

Hi Pam, gorgeous here too!
Plant tulips in the fall, I take mine out of the pot, clean the soil off and let them die back, then cut I cut the dead stems/leaves away and store them in a basket (or something) and leave them in a cool/dark place till fall.
That's how I do it :)

Thanks so much. I'll do that

Pam, I am sure that what Kath said is the proper way to plant them and I have tried that and I always forget that I have them. I have planted them now as soon as they die in the pot, leave the green out until it dies completely off and then cut it back and mine have always come up but I am going to post a disclaimer with this because I know it is not the right way to do it
Cathy
I do it the same way Cathy does..I also plant my Easter Lillies and they come back up and bloom again in the late summer and then they are up and at it next year...
