Beautiful Tuesday

Hi everyone

Went for a scooter ride today. The weather is awesome. But by the weekend it's supposed to turn colder. Went past the gas station and the gas price was $3.05..Finally coming down some. Sure wish the grocery prices would come down. I had my granddaughter over the weekend. She is so good. Until her mother showed up to picker her up. Turned into a different kid. Wow...Took her to church on Sunday and she was afraid to go to the childrens class so she stayed there with us. And was the best ever.

I will post some pictures of her later.

Just had to share what i got today

The door bell rang and when i went to see who it was. I was shocked. This is what the man was holding.









Was i all flabbergasted. LOL

It is edible fruit. Here is what the card said.

Congratulations to you for being a 14 years survivor. I thought i would send this instead of flowers because you can eat this. By the way thanks for giving birth to me 22 years ago today. I love you mommy.

My son thought of me on his birthday. He's the best. Couldn't ask for any better. And it tastes so good. There are strawberrys that are dipped in pink chocolate. To die for....The cup that it is in is glass with a pink ribbon....

Warm Day

Today was a beautiful day. This afternoon hubby and i decided to take the scooters and go pick up a few things at the grocery store. We were headed down the road toward the store. This road has 2 lanes going the same way. I heard John blow his horn and went to look in my rear view mirror and there was this big SUV about 10" from me in my lane right beside me. Scared me to death. He was in a big hurry and went around this other car and then into my lane. That is what John told me. He was riding behind me. If John wouldn't of blown his horn i might of moved over a little in my lane and he would of hit me. People are getting so crazy these days. They need to watch out more for scooters and motorcycles. When we got to the store John said he about had a heart attach watching that SUV almost hit me. There was a man on a Harley motorcycle when we came out of the store and started talking to us. And we talked about that and he said people have been like that to him to. He said it's getting scary on the roads.

Other than that it was a nice day. The rest of the week is going to be warm and nice. This will probalby be the last of that and then the cold will come in. Sometimes i wish i lived south. And then i think about the weather there, hurricanes and all. I guess there is no place that's nice all year long. I guess i can dream.

Hump day

Today was rather cool and the sun was in and out. I think maybe that is why i've have been feeling tired alot. The weather change and getting dark earlier at night. Maybe after the time change things will get back to normal. The weather man said it going to warm up next week. My son's birthday is coming up on Friday. He will be 22. Wow to be that age again.

Today was a lazy day. Didn't do much at all. My son and DIL stopped by. Watched football today. Saturday my grandson was over and we went to the Harvest hoedown. They have a few craft seller, food, games for the kids, music, build your own scarecrow and purple cow patty bingo. Yep, cows painted purple. The tickets for that was $5.00 each and all the money went to the food bank. They had 3 prizes one of $250.00 one $500.00 and the big prize was $1000.00. They painted these squares on the ground and let three cows out and if the cow pooped on your block you win. Yep i never heard of it till then. It took a while for the cow's to do anything. So everyone just stood around waiting and watching. It was really funny. They missed my block by 1.

My grandson Logan and my hubby John fixed the scarecrow on the scooter and then sat it at the end of the driveway. People were riding by laughing. so that's what i did on Saturday. So the weekend wasn't to bad. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

October is Breast Cancer awareness month

I have been working on another primitive craft. He's a snowman and turned out pretty cute. Check him out on my ebay i have just listed him.




The weather is really cooling down now. And fall is really in the air. Won't be long before the leaves start falling. I can't wait to get started on another project.
