Holiday Recipe Swap

Happy Friday the 13th

Karrie over at stayathomemommy is having a recipe swap. You can still join the swap or just go and check out all the recipes.


Dump Cake
2-21oz. cans of Cherry Pie Filling (or your choice of Pie filling)
1-16oz can crushed pineapple
1 box white cake mix
2-sticks of marg. or butter melted
shredded coconut
chopped nuts or sliced almonds
Pour pie filling into a 9x12 baking dish. Spread pineapple (juice included) evenly on top of pie filling. Do not stir. Sprinkle cake mix on top of the pie filling. Do not stir. Sprinkle melted butter on top of the cake mix. Again do not stir. And lightly sprinkle the coconut. Then lightly cover with nuts. Do not mix. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
Very easy and good recipe.
Black Bottoms
1 Cup Cream Cheese softened
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 Cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1-6oz. bag of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon salt 1 Cup water
1/4 Cup Coca 1/3 Cup Oil
1 teaspoon baking powder 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
1-1/2 Cup flour 1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Sugar
Combine first 5 ingredients and set aside. Sift together salt, coca, baking soda, flour, sugar. Add water oil and vinegar. Add vanilla. Stir. Fill small muffin tin papers 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Then fill to top with cream cheese mixture.
Bake at 350 for 15 min.
