September is almost over

Wow I can't believe this month is almost over. It will be Christmas before we know it. It's supposed to cool down now. In the 60's starting tomorrow, but i guess it fall so that's the way the weather goes. Don't mind that if the sun is shinning. My poor little kitten got neutered today. He's sleeping now. I know he's not happy about it but it's better for him. He's really growing and loves to run through the house. At least the dog got a little break from him today. He is always chasing her around. LOL

Can't believe i did it.

Today i got my first tattoo. I'm 51 and finally did it. I get mixed emotions about what i did but i got it as a symbol of my breast cancer. It wasn't too bad. It did hurt some but was tolerable. Not like the pain of childbirth, that really hurt. LOL Talking about childbirth i had my last two children natural and without pain meds.

The weather has really changed. It was cooler today and they are calling for rain these next coming days. The leaves are starting to turn and some are falling off already. I'm not ready for winter.

little chilly

I got up early this morning and it was a might chilly out. Hubby is on his way to dialysis and i'm going to clean and wash clothes. Sounds fun, huh....LOL Oh, well someone has to do it, might as well be me. Someday maybe i'll strike it rich and get me a maid. Don't see that coming...

Tonight i am going to put my pumpkin on ebay. Worked really hard on it.

Finally got it finished.

I have been working on my halloween pumpkin and finally got it finished. I will be getting it posted on ebay tonight or tomorrow night. I am pretty happy with it. The weather is getting cooler now and i have had the windows opened for day. I just love that. Nothing much happened today.

Saturday the 13th

It's been a very nice day. Today was mine and my hubbys 17th anniversary. Wow how time flys. We had a good day together. Tomorrow i will have my grandson. We are going to an arts festival in the park. I am also working on a halloween craft. As soon as i get it done i will post it. The nights are getting cooler. Fall is just around the corner. I love the colors of fall. The oranges, yellow, browns...
It was warm and muggy today and the cool air tonight feels really good.

September 11

I remember that day. My hubby and i were in Daytona Beach FL. Celebrating our anniverary which is Sept. 13. We were getting ready to go to Disney and i was watching tv. I seen the plane go into the towers and just couldn't believe it. And then another plane. I was so scared. I yelled for my hubby to come look..He was at all to. We couldn't stop watching the news.

So today lets have a prayer for all the families that have lost someone to this terrible tradgey. To all the fire fighers, police, and everyone else that helped that day. And pray that this will never happen again. And to all our soldiers fighting to keep us safe.

Working on my blog

I've finally decided to start sewing again. Summer is winding down and fall is just around the corner. I love being outside. And didn't feel much like crafting. I don't want to be cooped in all summer when i'm stuck in the house all winter. It will be nice when i can open the windows and let the house air out. Not happy about seeing winter come with the high price of fuel oil. This winter we will just have to bundle up. LOL I'm learning more and more blogging with help and trail and error. But its coming along. We got alot of rain again today but really need it. so it was welcome.

Today was so nice out. The sun was shinning and i didn't get much done today. I'm sitting here now working on my blog just trying to figure it all out. Well better get back to work.

Rainy Saturday

Today was a dreary day. Rained most of the day. The hurricane from the south moved up the east coast but we only got the rain and a little wind. Hurricanes and tornados scare me to death. I don't know if i could live where they get alot of them.
I have been working on the deck the last few days trying to get it stained before winter. Got alot of it done and now it's raining so tomorrow i'll see how much more i can get done. The sun is supposed to shine on Sunday and Monday then rain again on Tuesday.
The kitten that i had gotten a while back is so packed with energy. Just tires me out. But when he's sleeping he's so cute. LOL
Well thanks for listening to me go on and on.
