I bought this crept myrtle last summer at Lowes. I planted it and everything was good and this is what it looks like now. It has a tag on it that says Tusarua. The top of it is dead but there are branches coming from the bottom. I don't know if i should cut all the dead branches off. I don't have the receipt for it so they won't take it back. Do you think it is just gone and now way it's coming back.

Hi Pam,
I'm an old Veteran in South Carolina. Here, you can't kill a crepe myrtle. Yours looks like it could be root bound. Do you remember what the roots looked like when you put it in the ground? If it's root bound, it may be best to pull it up and plant another. Good luck! Skybird
